"French-fry-eating feral fornicators" aside from the French in that (I have to say that, as a Belgian), I love the alliteration 😂

Thanks 🤣. I'm English Canadian, so I'm with you on the French thing haha

Oh I meant more because the fry wasn't invented by the French 😏 *ducks for French pantouffles*

I think I'm in love with you! Just kidding. I don't even know you, but I DO fucking love your writing! Thanks for doing it. As for AI, eventually everything runs into that old friend entropy...(probably) even the seemingly infinite potential of AI to survive long after us meat flaps and this shiny blue ball we inhabit have spiraled into the sun. 🤷🏼 Here's to another day around it. 🌍

You had me at "meat flaps" 🤣. I think we need to be best friends haha

Basically we are doomed. But at least we can still entertain ourselves in our ignorance. 🤪

Thanks for a great piece!

I have no idea what your IQ is…..but I need “Wankers” like you to interpret Stephen (fucking) Hawking’s thoughts for my 85 ….seriously! Thanks for the article!

I'm glad you liked it. I don't know what my IQ is, but I'm still a sentient potato next to Hawking too.

IQs do not really matter…..it’s writers like you that attempt (and succeed at times) at adding humor to real life situations….it’s the little moments in life that make us smile or laugh until there’s tears running down our faces that matter……Steven (fucking) Hawking represents something to you that helps you become the writer of humor you are…..I’m more impressed with Eric (fucking) Clapton’s music abilities…..that inspires me to be the “Wanker” I am…..but nothing’s better then those little moments in life, when I can find humor in someone’s writing! Thank you!!!

I find vast comfort in the notion that a/i is far from i - now - and always.

i requires the capacity to blend and navigate actual physical feelings with emotions with memories with esoteric concepts to include intelligence, compassion, grace, spirituality and love. The more adept your blending and navigating skills are - the higher your i.

ai requires bottomless oceans of human made data to puree into premade preambles garnished with harvested, templated biases.

While ai may inspire a range of feelings - joy to fear in this moment - writers who deal with ai generated output are already - in a word - over it.

You nailed it Soul, we're already 'over it'. Great phrasing on 'data puree' hehe

We will use AI as our extensions, better heart in longevity in performance, forever body parts. He is song says a little of the rest.

Cue that

I think we might be timesharing the same brain Paul 🤣. You've already written on so many topics that I do. Although I have to say that one was a hilarious doozy and it did my head in.

I suspect that we Canadians are all interconnected, like the Infected in “The Last of Us.” That analogy certainly explains why we’re so determined to infect and overrun others with our memes.

"I’m with Wheels on this one."

Hawking would have fallen out of his chair with laughter (although he was probably strapped in pretty good).

I could hang with Stephen and Sagan. Wankers is British word play. We could just smash our machines and run wild again, you never, I’m sure we’d still have fun and love. ❤️

It's Artificial Stupidity i'm worried about.

Stupid humans using stupid machines (current AI) in stupid ways.

I don't buy into the "evil genius" trope. A genius wouldn't be evil. It takes a narrow mind to be evil. Intelligence sees past the "orders" it is given. Intelligence sees the wood for the trees.

My 2 cents. ;)

He also warned us not to look too hard for alien life forms, what makes us think they will be friendly?
